Bulk adding users to Safeguard Record Manager

Prerequisite

  1. On the top navigation menu, click and click User Manager.
  2. Click Import Staff and click Download Staff Import Template. The file is downloaded in your browser and saved to your device.
  3. Open the file and delete the first row completely from the spreadsheet.
  4. In column A, type in all the users' email addresses.
  5. In column B, type in all the users' full names.
  6. Save the file.

Procedure

Note: If you upload the file between 7:00 and 19:00, users are added within 10 minutes. However, if you upload the file outside of these hours it is processed at 7:00 the following morning.

  1. On the top navigation menu, click and click User Manager.
  2. Click Import Staff and on the Staff Import page, click Choose file.
  3. Locate the file that you want to use and click Upload.

Troubleshooting

User Exists

  1. If you see the User Exists Status message after upload, go to the User Manager page.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click Disabled Users to expand the view.
  3. Find the user and activate their account by clicking Enable.
