Use this page to configure log retention and disk space for logs settings.

Syslog logging

Remote syslog Turns on sending logs externally.
Syslog server The IP address of the remote log server.
Default retention

The default retention period.

Default retention period Description
1 day Rotate the log file daily. Keep the last day.
2 days Rotate the log file daily. Keep the last two days.
A week Rotate the log file weekly. Keep the last seven days.
2 weeks Rotate the log file weekly. Keep the last 14 days.
A month Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 30 days.
2 months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 60 days.
three months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 90 days.
four months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 120 days.
five months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 150 days.
six months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 180 days.
seven months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 210 days.
eight months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 240 days.
nine months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 270 days.
ten months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 300 days.
eleven months Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 330 days.
A year Rotate the log file monthly. Keep the last 365 days.

Delete old logs when free space is low Delete logs automatically when the specified amount of disk space has been reached.
