Product Documentation for the Glamis Release
What's New in Glamis?
Added support for Google user groups and organizational units.
Tip: Google makes use of both user groups and organizational units (referred to in Google documentation as both "organization units" and "organizational units"). Google groups are to manage user contact, for example, email groups, whereas Google organization(al) units control service availability for users.

What's New in Glamis-1?
The Connect Filter for Windows client has been updated to include support for the Windows 10 operating system. Users no longer have to authenticate with the client as well as their Windows device; authentication credentials cached on the Windows device are used by the Connect Filter for Windows client.

The Smoothwall now generates a URL link, that can be copied to device clipboards and used to share report results.

A new option has been introduced to allow device identification to Global Proxy via a secure URL. This option allows you to secure your Chromebooks in one go, without requiring a client-side certificate.

In our forthcoming release, which focuses on performance and future-proofing the underlying Smoothwall infrastructure, the IPSec tunnels' encryption will be tightened. For Glamis-1, a warning is displayed if a mismatch is found with the encryption settings between the local and remote ends of a tunnel. This allows you to correct the problem before upgrading to the next release, as such a mismatch will result in the tunnel failing to establish.
