Configuring the Outgoing SMTP Relay

Note: This topic applies to the Framlingham Release.

You can control the which email traffic is allowed to relay through Anti-Spam based on the originating IP address or subnet.

To control outgoing email, do the following:

1. Go to Email > SMTP > Outgoing.

2. From the Add allowed address panel, configure the following:
IP or subnet to relay from — The IP address or subnets of machines on the local network that are to be allowed to relay mail through Anti-Spam. For example: 192.168.10.10
Comment — Enter an optional description of the address.
Enabled — New addresses are enabled by default. Clear the check box to create a disabled address.
3. Click Add.
