Creating new bandwidth limits for interfaces
Note: We recommend that if the maximum incoming or outgoing bandwidth has been adjusted for that interface, you reconfigure the bandwidth share for each class assigned to the interface.
Procedure
- On the BANDWIDTH menu, under the Control submenu, click Interfaces.
- Click Add new interface limit and make sure that Enabled is selected.
- From the Interface list, select the relevant external interface.
- Enter the appropriate amount of incoming and outgoing bandwidth for this interface. You can configure the bandwidth as kilobits per second (kbps) or megabits per second (Mbps).
- Click Add.

- To edit a bandwidth limit for an interface:
- Under the Interfaces section, in the table, place your mouse cursor over the relevant interface bandwidth limit and click Edit.
- Adjust the configuration and click Save changes.
- To delete a bandwidth limit for an interface:
- Under the Interfaces section, in the table, place your mouse cursor over the relevant interface bandwidth limit and click Delete.
