Add new slice

Use this dialog box to add a new slice to a policy.

Navigation: BANDWIDTH > Control > Shaping policies > Add new slice.

Status	Indicates whether the application slice is in use.
Name	The application slice name. This shows under the Application slices table within the shaping policy.
Services	The list of relevant categories of services for this application slice. Within each category section is a list of applications that you can select.
Incoming relative weight	The incoming bandwidth ratio. This is an integer between 1 and 100.
Incoming cap	The maximum incoming bandwidth to be used. This is either in kilobits per second (kbps) or megabits per second (Mbps). This is optional.
Outgoing relative weight	The outgoing bandwidth ratio. This is an integer between 1 and 100.
Outgoing cap	The maximum outgoing bandwidth to be used. This is either in kilobits per second (kbps) or megabits per second (Mbps). This is optional.
Comment	A descriptive comment about the application slice.
