Locations Page
Use this page to manage location objects so that you can block or allow content for devices in certain physical locations, for example, the science lab.
Navigation: GUARDIAN > Policy objects > Locations.
Manage location | |
---|---|
Name | A meaningful name for the location object. |
Addresses | Either the IP address, host name, IP range or subnet of the devices that you want to include in the location object. For example, for a device, enter: 192.168.0.58, for a range of devices, enter: 192.168.0.61-192.168.0.71, and for content identified by a host name, enter: roaming_laptop. |

Exceptions | Either the IP address, host name, IP range or subnet of the devices that you want to exclude from the location object. For example, for a device, enter: 192.168.0.58, for a range of devices, enter: 192.168.0.61-192.168.0.71, and for content identified by a host name, enter: roaming_laptop. |
Save | Saves your location object. |
Locations | |

Where | The name of the location object. |
Exceptions | Either the IP address, host name, IP range or subnet of the devices that you want to exclude from the location object. |
What | Either the IP address, host name, IP range or subnet of the devices that you want to include in the location object. |
Delete | Removes the location object. |
Edit | Opens the location object details in the page so that you can amend them. |
Add to location | Opens the location object details in the page so that you can add another device to the location object. |
