Installing and removing modules

Note: The information displayed depends on the product series you're using.

Procedure

On the SYSTEM menu, under the Maintenance submenu, click Modules.

• To install a module, under the Available modules section, place your mouse cursor over the relevant module and click Install.
• To remove a module:
  1. Under the Installed modules section, place your mouse cursor over the relevant module and click Uninstall.
  2. Reboot the Smoothwall from the Shutdown page.

Note: Some module installations need a full restart of the Smoothwall Filter and Firewall. Details are provided in the module description.
