Use this page to deploy Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) policies to stop intrusions such as known and zero-day attacks, unwanted access and denial of service.

Navigation: SERVICES > Intrusion system > IPS.

Active IPS policy
IPS Policy	The policy you want to deploy. You can select from the default policies provided with the Smoothwall or customize a policy to suit your network.
Comment	The description of the policy.
Enabled	Turns on the policy.
Add	Adds the policy to the Current IPS policies table.
