Bulk adding users to Safeguard Record Manager
Prerequisite
- On the top navigation menu, click and click User Manager.
- Click Import Staff and click Download Staff Import Template. The file is downloaded in your browser and saved to your device.
- Open the file and delete the first row completely from the spreadsheet.
- In column A, type in all the users' email addresses.
- In column B, type in all the users' full names.
- Save the file.
Procedure
Note: If you upload the file between 7:00 and 19:00, users are added within 10 minutes. However, if you upload the file outside of these hours it is processed at 7:00 the following morning.
- On the top navigation menu, click and click User Manager.
- Click Import Staff and on the Staff Import page, click Choose file.
- Locate the file that you want to use and click Upload.

Troubleshooting
User Exists
- If you see the User Exists Status message after upload, go to the User Manager page.
- At the bottom of the page, click Disabled Users to expand the view.
- Find the user and activate their account by clicking Enable.
