Creating new bandwidth limits for interfaces

Note: We recommend that if the maximum incoming or outgoing bandwidth has been adjusted for that interface, you reconfigure the bandwidth share for each class assigned to the interface.

Procedure

  1. On the BANDWIDTH menu, under the Control submenu, click Interfaces.
  2. Click Add new interface limit and make sure that Enabled is selected.
  3. From the Interface list, select the relevant external interface.
  4. Enter the appropriate amount of incoming and outgoing bandwidth for this interface. You can configure the bandwidth as kilobits per second (kbps) or megabits per second (Mbps).
  5. Click Add.

  • To edit a bandwidth limit for an interface:
    1. Under the Interfaces section, in the table, place your mouse cursor over the relevant interface bandwidth limit and click Edit.
    2. Adjust the configuration and click Save changes.
  • To delete a bandwidth limit for an interface:
    • Under the Interfaces section, in the table, place your mouse cursor over the relevant interface bandwidth limit and click Delete.
