Policy wizard Page

Use this page to create policies to scan content passing through the Smoothwall Filter .

Navigation: GUARDIAN > Anti-Malware > Policy wizard.

Step 1: Who
Available users or groups The list of users and groups available to be selected.
Add » Adds the selected users or groups to the Included users or groups list.
« Remove Moves the selected users or groups to the Available users or groups list.
Included users or groups The list of users or groups that the policy applies to. For example, a certain school year or department.
Create a new group Opens the Groups Page page.

Step 2: What
Available categories or category groups What is to be filtered. Multitenant configured systems have the tenant name prefixed to tenant specific categories and category groups.
Add » Adds the selected users or groups to the Included categories or category groups list.
« Remove Moves the selected users or groups to the Available categories or category groups list.
Included categories or category groups The list of categories that the policy contains.
Create a new category group or a new category Opens the Category groups Page page and the Categories Page page.

Step 3: Where
Available locations Where the policy applies. For example, a room of devices.
Add » Adds the selected users or groups to the Included locations list.
« Remove Moves the selected users or groups to the Available locations list.
Included locations The list of locations where the policy applies.
Create a new location Opens the Locations Page page.

Step 4: Action
Create policy folder Select this action when configuring a policy at a central installation where you need to create policy folders for multiple locations or groups, see our help topic, About policy folders
Scan Select this action to scan the content specified for malware.
Do not scan Select this action to allow the user to access the content without scanning it for malware.

Enable Turns on the policy.
Confirm Opens a confirmation page showing all your selections. You need to click Save to turn on your policy.
Cancel Opens the Manage policies Page page.
