Setting up an upstream registration proxy and providing statistical information to Smoothwall

Note: The upstream proxy has no bearing on the Smoothwall proxy services.

Procedure

1. On the SYSTEM menu, under the Preferences submenu, click Registration options.
2. To set up an upstream registration proxy, under the Upstream registration proxy section, enter the host name or IP address of the proxy Server, the Port number to use, the Username and Password provided by your ISP.
3. To stop sending registration information, clear the selection for Extended registration information.
4. To stop sending web filter feedback, clear the selection for Provide filtering feedback information.
5. Click Save.
