Turning on the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) service

Prerequisites

• Adding new Smoothwall access rules:
  1. On the NETWORK menu, under the Firewall submenu, click Smoothwall access.
  2. Add an access rule for the following Services — SNMP (161).

Procedure

1. On the SERVICES menu, under the SNMP submenu, click SNMP.
2. Select Enabled and enter the SNMP Community password and click Save.
