Use this page to connect the Smoothwall to directory services to retrieve directory configured groups, apply network and web filtering permissions to users based on group membership within directories, and verify the identity of a user who is trying to access network or Internet resources.
Navigation: SERVICES > Authentication > Directories.
|Add new directory||Opens the Add new directory dialog box so that you can add a new directory's details.|
|Directory||The directory's name.|
|Type||The type of directory being used.|
|Tenants||The tenants that the directory applies to.|
|Status||Indicates whether the directory is synchronized or not.|
|Enabled||Indicates whether the directory is active or not.|
|Edit||Only appears once you place your mouse cursor over the row. Opens the Add new / Edit directory dialog box so that you can amend your directory's details.|
|Delete||Only appears once you place your mouse cursor over the row. Removes the connections to the directory and deletes the entry from the Directories table.|
|Diagnose||Only appears once you place your mouse cursor over the row. Opens the Authentication diagnostics dialog box so that you can diagnose directory-level problems and network related problems.|
